How to Track Multiple Keywords (i.e. AND / OR combinations)

Tracking multiple keywords / hashtags on Keyhole is easy. Here are 3 ways to do it:

Case 1: AND -- E.g. #Key1 AND #Key2

Say you're looking for all posts that have both #Key1 and #Key2.

This is equivalent to #Key1 AND #Key2 in boolean.

Simply enter all keywords in the same search box:

This will return posts that have all of the provided keywords.

Summary: To return posts with multiple keywords, place all keywords into a single search box.

Case 2: OR -- E.g. #Key1 OR #Key2

This case applies if you're looking for posts with any of a set of keywords.

This is equivalent to #Key1 OR #Key2 in boolean.

To find all posts that have either #Key1 or #Key2 (or #Key3 or ...), simply enter these search terms into different search boxes:

This will return all posts that have any of the provided keywords.

Summary: To return posts with any of the provided keywords, enter each keyword into a separate search box.

Case 3: AND/OR Combination -- E.g. (#Key1 AND 123) OR (#Key2 AND 456)

Say you were looking for all posts that had #Key1 AND 123 as well as all posts that had #Key2 AND 456.

This is equivalent to (#Key1 AND 123) OR (#Key2 AND 456) in boolean.

To retrieve all posts that have a combination of AND and OR keywords, combine the 2 cases mentioned above: put all AND cases in the same search box, and put all OR cases in different search boxes:

This will return all posts that have all search terms in the first search box as well as all posts that have all search terms in the second search box.

Summary: To return posts with a combination of AND and OR functions, place all AND combinations into individual search boxes.
